Nếu bạn cảm thấy các thông báo này gây phiền hà thì có thể tắt chức năng thông báo này để chúng không xuất hiện nữa. Cách thực hiện như dưới đây:
- Mở menu Start > chọn All Programs > chọn Accessories > chọn Notepad.
- Trong cửa sổ Notepad, bạn nhập nội dung sau:

Chú ý: Bạn có thể thay đổi tùy ý các dòng text: Show or Hide Balloon Tips (tiêu đề hộp thoại), Balloon Tips are now ENABLED (nội dung hộp thoại cho hiện), Balloon Tips are now DISABLED (nội dung hộp thoại cho ẩn).
Sau đó, mở menu File > chọn Save As > rồi đặt tên file là baltips.vbs.
Mỗi khi cần cho ẩn hay hiện Balloon Tip, bạn hãy bấm kép chuột vào file baltips.vbs để chạy. Nếu Balloon Tip đang ở trạng thái ẩn thì sẽ xuất hiện hộp thoại cho hiện và ngược lại. Bạn chỉ cần bấm OK là xong.
